点评:We had heard good things about the Riverwalk in a magazine, so my family decided to check it out while we were on vacation in Wilmington. We paid $9.90 to park for one hour. While we were paying for the parking spot a man approached us and asked for money. Then a few minutes later on the boardwalk the same man approached us again asking for money. This was around 3 pm. We returned to our vehicle and found a place to parallel park on the street which was a lot more affordable ($2.50 an hour). We walked for about an hour along the strip where there are a lot of shops. There we ran into several more men asking us for money. Some approached us with signs and others just asked. Before getting into our vehicle another man approached us asking my elderly father for a handout. We told them all that we don't carry cash or just kept on walking. We left before the sun went down. I'd hate to see this place at night! It's especially not safe for the elderly.
