Riverwalk的点评
点评：We were centrally located staying at the Ballast Hotel, 4 nights December 28, 2025 to January 1, 2026. We could walk out the hotel right onto the riverwalk. This is the Cape Fear River, quite famous for movie settings. The boardwalk is very nice, however when we were there half of it was blocked off and under reconstruction in a few places. So walking either way from the hotel (north or south) we encountered detours to either Nutt Street (north) or Water Street (south). Of course this detracted from the enjoyment of walking the riverwalk along the river. We patronized a few restaurants right on the river, but never saw any shops right on the river (as some mention in other reviews). During our stay here, the weather varied from 70 degrees and sunny to 35 degrees with a super cold wind. On New Year's Eve, the city was supposed to have and present a drone light show at 6PM. This was one of the reasons for choosing to come here for NYE. We were there at 6 to 6:30 PM, nothing ever happened. A true disappointment :-( I imagine the summertime is much more pleasant walking here especially if not under construction.
翻译：我们入住的是位于市中心的巴拉斯特酒店，从2025年12月28日至2026年1月1日住了四晚。酒店门口就是河滨步道，这条河就是著名的恐惧角河，因多次在此取景而闻名。步道本身很漂亮，但我们去的时候，一半的路段被封锁，部分路段正在施工。所以无论从酒店往北走还是往南走，都得绕道去纳特街（往北）或水街（往南）。这当然影响了我们沿着河滨步道漫步的体验。我们光顾了几家河边的餐厅，但没有看到任何河边商店（正如其他评论里提到的那样）。在我们入住期间，天气变化很大，一会儿是阳光明媚的70华氏度（约21摄氏度），一会儿又是寒风凛冽的35华氏度（约2摄氏度）。据说，新年夜当天晚上6点，这座城市会举办一场无人机灯光秀。这也是我们选择来这里过新年的原因之一。我们下午6点到6点半在那里，什么也没发生。真是太失望了 :-( 我想夏天来这里散步应该会舒服得多，尤其是不施工的时候。
