Nice place but archaic rules!
Grand Bend Beach的点评
点评：The Beach is beautiful and very clean, the facilities are also clean. (Unless you make the mistake of going on Skip Day!) Being from the U.K. we were unaware of this.
To be honest though we had no problems, the beach was busy, but there were no incidents.
The thing that spoilt it was the way the beach is run. You constantly have police and local bylaw enforcement officers parading up and down. It certainly wasn’t a relaxing experience. No tents or gazebos are allowed. Even families with small tents to keep babies out of the sun were told to remove them. When asking the police for the reasoning behind the very strict rules, they honestly couldn’t reply. They just kept repeating that they were the local bylaws. Totally bizarre, surely if the police have to enforce something they should know the reasoning behind it!!!
