点评：I would so highly recommend choosing Mountain Monarch (owners Pradip and Subash) as your guide company to any of the mountains of Nepal. They knew exactly what they were doing and made the experience more rich with their local knowledge. They also will go waaaay out of their way to take care of everything to make the experience 100% amazing. For example, our flight from Katmandu to Lukla got diverted and we got stuck at the Ramechhap airport. Subash drove 8 hours from Katmandu to be with us for what ended up to be three days to help navigate the hotel, meals and airport/new flights. On the way back there were limited flights to Kathmandu from Lukla and we were booked to fly back to Ramechhapabc then drive 8 hours to Kathmandu but somehow Pradip pulled some strings and magically we were the only group diverted to Kathmandu when the weather was bad. The trip cost was very reasonable and it felt like they had local insider information and were able to help us when other groups were not as lucky.
We went as a group of 10 and couldn’t have had a more amazing trip. During the trek Nngima was our main guide and he headed up a crew of 4 other guides and 5 porters for our 10 members. The years of trekking experience of this crew is unmatched as is their warm helpfulness and incredible patience.
It is standard to give a 15-20% tip in cash (preferably in rupees) on top of the trip charge at the end but the cost of everything is well worth every penny. They are such kind and fun people, they will keep you safe and entertained the whole way. I formed friendships with our guides which will last a lifetime and would choose them again every time.
