One of the most beautiful gardens we have visited.

点评：Just the most beautiful garden with so many different aspects to appreciate and the walled garden was certainly one of the best, just spectacular and we have visited some beautiful ones. Choose a good weather day and you can picnic wherever you like. You will be spoiled for choice, from riverside, to formal to semi formal spaces.
A few of the comments are really churlish. Use your common sense for goodness sakes. There are paths that will be slippery in wet weather as the gardens are very hilly in places.if you aren’t equipped with the right footwear etc. don’t venture down them.
Children under 15 are not allowed nor are dogs and that rule is the prerogative of the owners.It is made quite clear on the website so don’t complain about it.
The fact it’s open 24/7 and 365 days of the year is unusual and so is the fact that visitors are welcome to bring picnics.
The whole garden was absolutely immaculate.
