点评：The road is long, the road is bumpy. However, the drive is worth it. 15 miles offroad, and then gravel for another seven miles is a long, slow experience. Best advice is to get a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Once arriving there, the scene is majestic. Experiencing the sunset here is a grand thing. Once you're out of your vehicle, it's amazing how quiet & desolate the place is. No one was there. No people, no animals, nothing. We came in early November, so not only was it at freezing temperatures, but the water had receeded, so the area around the Jetty sculpture was all soft mud. Didnt have the stench or abundance of bugs due to the cold. We could see the pink portion of Great Salt Lake far off in the distance. You can walk down there if you want, but the quiet solitude + no phone signal made it feel a bit creepy, so we just took some short time to observe. If coming from downtown Salt Lake City, give yourself 4hrs to get up there, take it in, and get back.
