点评：As an academic traveler researching the Royal African Company, which used to own and operate Cape Coast Castle and some of the smaller forts, I had some very particular goals for the four full days that I was able to spend in Ghana. As Easy Track Ghana’s boss, Ebenezer understood these goals well, and so did Julius, the driver he assigned to both my two-day tour of the castles out west and my one-day tour of Accra. Julius was well able to handle the traffic on Ghanaian roadways (and if you haven’t experienced it, just know that it’s hectic enough to make hiring a guide worth every penny). He adjusted our schedule to make sure that I had all the time I needed at the Royal African Company forts at Cape Coast and Anomabo, and he booked an especially knowledgeable guide to give me a private tour at both, instead of the usual group tours at the forts. He always made sure I was well supplied with food, water, and good tunes for our trip, and even made a point of taking me to a place where I could get palm wine when I expressed an interest in that particular Ghanaian beverage. And he helped me negotiate good prices with shop owners and street vendors, and made sure the street vendors knew when I wasn’t interested. Julius did sterling work as my guide and I would most definitely travel with him in Ghana again.
