I rented a camper from IndieCampers for my children’s birthday trip, and it turned into a disaster. From the moment we picked it up, the vehicle was uninhabitable — the toilet was broken, water systems failed, and we were forced to stay in hotels instead of using the RV.
At drop-off, staff admitted these problems came from prior renters, but the company still tried to charge me. On top of that, discriminatory remarks were made about previous families, which I found deeply offensive and unacceptable.
I’ve documented everything with photos, reports, and written confirmations. Instead of taking responsibility, IndieCampers has delayed and deflected. This isn’t just poor service — it feels predatory.
As a repeat customer, I expected better. I want to warn others: do your research before booking, and don’t trust IndieCampers with your family’s trip.
