点评：We are local patrons who have visited regularly over the past eight years, often with family. Today, my wife, children, and I dined here.
While the drinks, Cullen Skink, soup, and cheesy chips were all satisfactory, I was deeply disappointed by the beef burger. Having ordered this many times before, the difference in quality was stark. The patty was shockingly small—thinner than a McDonald’s burger and barely visible beyond the bun. This is a drastic reduction from what was once a substantial serving.
There are two possible explanations: either the kitchen ran out of proper patties and substituted something smaller without informing customers, or the portion size has been significantly reduced for cost-cutting reasons. Either way, customers should be notified and offered alternatives or a discount. Adding to the disappointment, the bun was overwhelmed with tomato relish, and the supposed “skin-on fries” were not as described.
Unfortunately, I left still hungry and dissatisfied with my meal, though I acknowledge the rest of the food was acceptable. This experience fell well below the standard we’ve come to expect.
