Six months before our trip, I began planning a vacation for my son and me. I had specific destinations in mind and a fixed travel schedule. Rebeca from Costa Rica Expeditions worked with me by email to discuss itinerary options, dates, and pricing. She was patient, kind, responsive, and a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process.
Unfortunately, our original arrival was disrupted by flight cancellations. However, the Costa Rica Expeditions operations team, which is available 24/7, quickly rearranged all of our transportation and accommodations for our arrival the following day. Everything was handled seamlessly, which greatly reduced our stress.
When we arrived in San José, a Costa Rica Expeditions representative met us at the airport, guided us through immigration and customs, and introduced us to our driver and tour guide for the day. It was a wonderful welcome after a long journey.
Each evening, we received an email with the next day's schedule, including pickup times, locations, and the names of our drivers and tour guides. Every driver and guide arrived promptly and was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable.
Our hotel accommodations were spacious, clean, and staffed by warm, helpful people. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfasts each morning, featuring fresh tropical fruit, a variety of egg dishes, Costa Rican favorites like gallo pinto and maduros, along with excellent coffee, tea, fresh juice, and more.
My son and I had an amazing time exploring Costa Rica, and much of that was thanks to the outstanding service provided by Costa Rica Expeditions. We highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful country!
