点评：We had an absolutely fantastic visit to The Engine House Visitor & Education Centre! The location itself is brilliant, and for anyone who loves trains, it’s a real treat. There were so many steam engines, all beautifully preserved, and walking around them really gives you a sense of just how massive these machines are.
The centre is very interactive too. There were old chairs to sit in, lots of informative displays, and even a train you could climb into and “operate” yourself—moving the knobs and levers. My three-year-old was completely captivated, and my five-year-old loved it too. Just being surrounded by all the trains made it an unforgettable experience.
Whether you’re a little train enthusiast or an adult who appreciates engineering and history, The Engine House is a must-visit. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t recommend it highly enough!
