点评：We visited today using Historic Houses membership cards. The Hall is interesting to visit, being used still as a family home. There is a clear visitor route and areas which are private are clearly marked. There are lots of rooms to see in the various parts of the building. There is no photography allowed within the building. It was nice to be welcomed by the owners. There were few people touring the house and we were allowed to walk around at our own pace.
There is a garden tour route marked, with a sign across the fields to the woodland, where the best display of snowdrops is in the woods. There are snowdrops and hellebores in the gardens too. The Hall and gardens have been open for visitors since early February and parts of the garden and woodland have become very muddy where people have walked.
This is well worth a visit.
