Great walk
Skelwith Force Waterfall的点评
点评：Staying nearby and was looking for somewhere to do a quick walk in-between the rain.
We had already had some lovely food at Chester's on the river then we went back outside to the left of the building and followed the path to Skelwith force.
The path is very scenic and the waterfall although small is very pretty. We didn't manage to get the best view due to all the rocks by the steps being very wet and slippery. But on a dry day you can get a lot closer for a good view.
We carried on the path and walked next to the river on a really scenic path then eventually turned round and went back to the force, crossed the metal bridge to the other side then did a further walk back to where we parked by Chester's.
Lovely scenic walk of you're nearby.
Note - There is a previous review/pictures which refers to multiple waterfalls and this is actually from Stock Ghyll force (walk from Ambleside town centre) which is definitely worth a visit but I think was accidentally posted here wrongly
