点评:We are both English Heritage members and thought as we were in the area we would look at Titchfield Abbey. The old Abbey building is very impressive and stands as a monument to what would have been a spectacular building in its day. We parked up and thought we would have to show someone our membership cards but the place is devoid of anyone checking in or looking at parking etc. Anyway we wandered around the old ruins and worked out where flooring would have been and the roof structure etc. There are ample grounds around the abbey that being self sufficient many years ago when in use would have been perfect. We were glad we called and had a look at this site with its impressive entrance and towers. We never spent very long here as we had vastly over estimated how long we would need to look around. To be quite honest if it takes you 30 minutes you have not done badly. There are plenty of boards with interesting facts and comments. We took pictures of these and will read in our own time when at home.
Our visit was on Wednesday 29 November.

我们的参观时间是11月29日,星期三。
