点评：Coffin Works was right around the corner from our Hotel, we were up in Birmingham to see an event in the Utilita Bowl - so we decided to visit as this museum seemed quirky and different and it was on our doorstep so to speak! We were not disappointed at all, what a great museum this was, Madds the tour guide was so entertaining and informative we really felt as though we had learned a lot from her. There is an opportunity to touch some of the items in specified areas and view the factory as it would have been, learn the history of its rise and fall and the reason behind that, listen to stories from some of the staff who worked there and you could get a real feel for the heavy and skilled work that went on in the factory. Photos were encouraged. There were some great items in the gift shop which although were a tad on the expensive side they were lovely items and different to your standard gift shop items so we did make a couple of purchases! There was also a cafe inside but we didn't visit it on this occasion. All in all a very interesting, informative, museum which gives you a real taste of times gone by.
