Solitude River Trips的点评
点评：Recently spent 6 memorable days with Solitude rafting in the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. What an experience! Fairly new to rafting, this was the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish it was nothing less than exceptional. The owners, Jake and Bridget, know how to do this. The guides were knowledgeable about the history of the area and were happy to share stories. The day starts with a totally yummy breakfast (fresh biscuits, eggs benedict, lots of fruit, cinnamon rolls) and good coffee. After gearing up, we rafted for a few hours with stops for hiking, rock jumping, collecting fresh spring water from mountain waterfalls, and collecting firewood. Lunches were perfect. Dinners were over the top. Five stars all the way! Warm water showers were available and felt great after a day of hot sun and whitewater. The tents were set up for us (phew). The bedding included a nice thick pad, fitted sheet and comfy sleeping bag with full size pillow. So appreciated.
So if you are thinking of doing something extreme, challenging and a huge amount of fun, this is it. Thank you Jake and Bridget and the entire group of very cool guides for making this trip my trip of a lifetime. And thank you Kracken the dog for sharing the raft with me!
