Calcot and Spa.. the perfect combination for a perfect break.

点评：Calcot is the most perfect place to relax and unwind and enjoy time with friends and family. I don’t normally write reviews because I would rather not write about a place I have stayed in and not enjoyed but I am making an exception for Calcot because I was completely blown away on our recent visit with friends. The hotel rooms and facilities are so charming and comfortable. Beautifully decorated with brilliant beds and bathrooms. Every little detail had been thought of, to ensure we literally could not have needed anything else in our room.
We went with friends to celebrate our birthdays and started off with a delicious lunch in their relaxed Hive cafe, followed by some incredibly relaxing spa treatments and time in the pool.. then a walk in the grounds. Drinks and a really special dinner made for a very memory and enjoyable evening.
I think Calcot is very special and so well laid out and designed. It is great for couples, or friends but also fantastic for families with facilities discreetly spread around the property for children and parents to enjoy together or for parents to have their children entertained and looked after, so they can have some time off. There is a lovely play area outside. Even the gym has some outdoor equipment so guests can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We were so impressed by everything. Breakfast was also delicious.
I really couldn’t fault anything.
Best of all were the staff. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and welcoming and clearly took great pride in the hotel.
Can’t wait to go back. Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay.
