Macdonald Hill Valley Spa的点评
点评：We redeemed a buyagift voucher to use the spa facilities.
On our arrival, we were provided with robes and slippers, however, the facilities were open to the public, we were unable to use the pool and the introducer asked us to leave the pool because it was being used for an aerobic class. No hot or soft drinks were on offer, no stations available in the spa area. There is one water station near the swimming pool but very dirty.
The spa area only offers one small relaxation room, but it was freezing, there is no heating. This was the only space used as “spa facilities”
The changing rooms were dirty, the lockers did not lock very well. Facilities in general were not clean (steam room, sauna).
We had redeem a back massage each which was the only highlight, however, it did not last the full 30 minutes as it should. We went to try the restaurant, which was open from 12pm; our “2 course meal” was not included. We were told it was £15 per head, and no menu met that amount which meant you would have to paid a lot extra. To my recollection it was not a starter and main, it was just mains available. We ordered drinks, and a dirty glass with lipstick was brought over for a coke cola. At this point, we decided to exit and leave without having lunch.
The hotel is very outdated. I would not recommend this spa, it is advertised as a spa but it’s not delivered as a spa.
