Still a lovely spa but the food here is absolutely DIRE!

点评：Still a lovely spa and still my choice of location- I come here 3-4 times a year. But the food? It's laughable.
I ordered a coronation chicken wrap, there were no wraps, so I ordered a butternut squash dhansak instead. It took an age to arrive and when it did it was a very mild cauliflower and lentil curry- very obviously a microwave meal too and at the cost of £18.50!! It was barely worthy of £9.99 from a 241 chain pub. Absolute garbage. Nobody came over to ask how my meal was, nobody asked anything. Customer service was abysmal. I'd havd complained, however I was on a time limit to get to the pool before the influx of children arrived for the leisure swim 🤦♀️🙈.
The spa food used to be amazing.
There was a separate dining area for spa attendees overlooking the golf course in an upstairs room and a separate menu which included healthy bento box salads and sides full of flavour. What's going on?! This is crap.
Next time I come, I'm genuinely going to bring myself a wholesome packed lunch from home and if anyone asks me why I'm sat eating my own food, I'll explain exactly why!

下次来，我一定要从家里带一份健康的盒饭，如果有人问我为什么自己吃东西，我一定会解释清楚！
