The worst spa I’ve ever been to.

点评：Do not book this hotel or spa deal.
We went on a spa day which was gifted to us. We upgraded to afternoon tea and had extra spa treatments.
The hotel was very dated and seriously needs renovating or knocking down!
The spa is honestly an absolute disgrace. There were literal holes in the floor that they had covered up with mats. Tiles were missing from around the pool side. The showers, ceilings and surrounding areas were rusting. The pool was murky. The jacuzzi was a disgrace, it looked like it was rusting and they had painted over it. The jets were all broken in the jacuzzi. There wasn’t enough seating areas for guests to sit and relax and the quality of the seating and tables were poor. The windows had never seen soap. The sauna was out of order. The steam room hasn’t been fixed in over 2 years and is out of order. The place is filthy. The changing rooms were freezing cold and the lockers looked like they were the original lockers from the 70s! The toilet handles had rusted away and some toilets didn’t have locks or handles. The place absolutely stunk of mould. They’d covered up part of the changing room area with sheets where half the ceiling had fallen down! There were light fixtures hanging down from the ceiling too….
We got ready for afternoon tea and heard someone being violently sick in the toilets which worried us as we were about to eat.
Then we had afternoon tea. The lady who served us was very pleasant but the food was not. The milk we were served had a skin on top of it and was sat in dirty crockery. The silver teapot hadn’t been polished it had all fingerprints on it. The bread on sandwiches was hard as if it had been sitting out for a while and the fillings were very bland. The cakes were dense and clearly shop bought. It was just very poor quality food. Once we had been served the waitress was nowhere to be seen. We overheard someone trying to book a wedding for this hotel and we felt like telling them not to bother.
The spa treatments
Requested a deep massage and it was more of a tickle than a massage in parts. The oil they used smelt old and musty. It did not smell like aromatherapy oil at all. My treatment had finished earlier than it was supposed to even though I had paid more for extra treatments. I had to sit and wait 20 minutes for my family who received the same treatments as me. You could also hear others outside in the spa lounge whilst you were getting massaged which wasn’t very relaxing. My massage room sounded like it had a boiler or a water pump in the cupboard which was bizarre.
And on our way out there was a bride who was having her wedding at this hotel and she was very upset about room availability. I felt very sorry for her.
The people who own this place really need to get their act together. The hotel has suffered from years of neglect and lack of investment. There are plenty of other better places to visit/stay than this hotel.

然后我们喝了下午茶。为我们服务的女士非常友好，但食物却不是。我们喝的牛奶上面有一层皮，放在脏兮兮的陶器里。银茶壶没有擦亮，上面全是指纹。三明治上的面包很硬，好像放了一段时间了，馅料也很淡。蛋糕很密实，显然是从商店买来的。食物质量很差。我们吃完后，女服务员不见了。我们无意中听到有人想在这家酒店预订婚礼，我们想告诉他们别费心了。
