Disappointing staff response after losing my belongings

点评：I visited with my daughter on Halloween day and while the experience itself was fine, what happened at the end of our day left me really disappointed. I accidentally dropped my Ray-Ban sunglasses and my umbrella in one of the quieter areas of the farm, there was a large puddle at the entrance, so most visitors were avoiding it. I noticed it almost immediately and asked a staff member for help. He directed me to reception, but they didn’t seem interested in helping and only told me to leave my information. They didn’t even radio anyone, which made me feel quite dismissed — and I honestly couldn’t help wondering if it was because I look like a tourist.
Because that response didn’t sit well with me, I asked another staff member. He was much more proactive and radioed the farm team right away. They replied saying they had found “the items”. But when I rushed back to reception, they claimed they only had the umbrella. Since both items fell out of my bag at the same time, I find it very unlikely that only one was recovered. It left me with the uncomfortable feeling that someone from the staff may have kept my sunglasses. I would hope they have cameras there and could investigate if they wanted to.
I haven’t heard from them since, despite leaving my details, and there’s no clear way to follow up. It was an upsetting end to what should have been a fun day out with my daughter.
