点评：This was our first time doing a trip down the Blue River together. The staff at Cave Country Canoes was excellent. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, they came over, offered to help us get our kayaks off the roof rack (we obviously brought our own equipment). I’m addition to renting their watercraft and accessories, they also offer to haul your boat up to the start. We chose the early bird haul, before the peak times kicked in and we were the only ones on the shuttle. When we arrived at the launch there three young men there to help us get our yaks in the water. I recommend bringing cash for tip. They were easily identified by their matching blue CCC shirts. They were there at the end of our trip to help as well. Very nice crew working to ensure we had a good time and that we did as little work as possible. The shop at the pickup had plenty of supplies, and they’re attached to an ice cream shop!!! Dogs are welcome and after our trip our little Kali was treated to a free “pup cup” of whipped cream and a doggie treat. The water was flowing just enough for a relaxing trip down the Blue River. We were able to do the “half day” trip in about 4 hours, which was plenty of time for stops and playing in the water. We only had to drag our kayaks 3 to 4 times. Water height was 2.5 ft and was flowing at 16.5 cfs.
