Small but beautiful lake.

点评：We really liked this one because you can walk down to the waters edge and it doesn’t attract a lot of tourists because most of the tour groups head straight to the Miradouro da Boca do Inferno (which has its own TA listing), which is another 15-to-20-minute walk further on the path.
There is a large parking facility, as it is for both attractions, and for the various hiking routes to the set of four crater lakes to the south of the car park. After crossing the road and starting on the path to the Miradouro, the lake is signposted to the left soon after. You have to traverse some wooden steps and navigate tree roots on the way down (and obviously back up) but the beauty of this small lake is worth it. If you are not good with steps, then there is a second path down to the lake a bit further on which is slightly easier to navigate.
