Hanuman Garhi Mandir is one of the most revered temples in Ayodhya, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that Hanumanji stayed here to protect Lord Ram’s birthplace. This temple is located near the famous Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir and is considered highly powerful by devotees.
Location: About 10-15 minutes' walk from Ram Mandir.
Timings: Closes at 12:30 PM, so plan accordingly. Opens later in the evening.
Pathway: On the way, you can feed cows and enjoy tea, fruits, and food from the many stalls around.
Crowd: It gets super crowded, and there's a huge line for darshan. Be prepared to wait and be cautious on the stairs.
Special Access: The back door was closed during my visit, but typically it's another way to enter.
Or just enter through the sweet shop (right side, just before mandir) in the line.
Darshan Experience: There’s a lot of pushing during the darshan due to the crowd, but the place is spiritually powerful.
Chowk Dwar: The mandir is located inside the Chowk Dwar, adding to its historical significance.
Despite the crowds and push, the energy of the place makes it worth the visit. A must-see for those in Ayodhya!
