Finally got to play Smugglers
Smugglers Glen Golf Course的点评
点评：As a mid level golfer ( I'm being generous to myself ), I had always wanted to play this course but never felt qualified enough. Friends who are much more seasoned golfers bragged about this course. Well I finally got the chance.
Upon arrival, we knew this course was a cut above the rest of the Kingston/Gan area courses. It started with the bag drop off where the attendant took care of setting up our clubs on the cart. Everyone we encountered on staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.
The course does take prisoners...without warning, the 1st tee off requires a lengthy, rather narrow drive over a ravine. Throw in the fact that it's a long par 5 and you get the feel of the course right away.
I golfed with my brother and we were paired up with two great people, Sherri and Chris. They were perfect partners for the day as they showed us the lay of the land.
The staff from the drink cart to the kitchen staff to the bartender were very friendly.
I managed 2 pars which for me on this course was pretty amazing and made me want to return to improve. The course and staff solidified that desire to play here again. P.S., bring your phone and take lots of pictures. The course is beautiful.
