点评:I drove about an hour from Winnipeg to Winnipeg Beach. This town had a few free parallel parking spots, but there was a large field for free parking by a train track. This town‘s main street had many venues of: entertainment, food, and souvenirs; many of these venues closed early. I especially enjoyed my walks at the beach, and I preferred the boardwalk, since the sand had many rocks within it. The beach was free for people to access, and it was busy, but it was not packed. I did see some lifeguards make their rounds throughout the beach. The beachgoers were friendly, and I felt safe at this location. The water was decently warm in early July at about 22°C/72°F, and it was full of waves. The water did not get too rough or too deep, but the water was of a brownish color. The water was full of rocks, and it was said to have had a higher bacteria count. I saw a playground, some tennis courts, a gazebo, and a spot for live music, but I did not engage in this activities. This was a great day trip to take from Winnipeg.
