点评：We went on the 5pm boat in the first week of August. Two adults and 1 child, £55 in total. My only negative comment is that it costs £15 for all children. Our daughter is only 3 so didn't get a lot out of the trip but still cost us £15.
BUT, I understand the pricing as we were in Amble all day and the earlier boats were full and ours was fairly busy. They could easily sell the seat to an adult. Anyway, advice is to book early in peak season. Tickets can be bought from the pod in Harbour Village.
Boat was clean, well looked after and felt perfectly safe. Staff on the boat were polite and helpful, but customer service maybe isn't their strong point. No complaints, but service was functional not excellent.
Trip was exactly as described, just over an hour trip round Coquet Island and back. GREAT for seal watching, saw loads and really close up. I've been on a lot of seal watching trips and this was easily the best in terms of what we saw.
Plenty of terns to spot on the island, but you really need binoculars to get a good a view. We saw one single puffin, which was very special. Puffin season is usually finished by August, so don't go any later than mid July and expect to see them.
Overall perfectly happy with the trip. Little bit pricey, but still a good experience.
