点评:I had some time to kill in Nuremberg and popped in for about an hour and a half. The courtroom is there, and you can sit inside, although its layout has changed since 1946.
You are given an audio guide and can follow the exhibition upstairs, pressing the number corresponding to each section on the interpretation board. There are a lot of them, and I think you'd need about 2 hours to get through them all. Mostly, it's just translating German text and then explaining the photographs, although there are a couple of original film recordings from the trials that you can listen in to.
I learnt a few things, and I guess this period of history will always remain somewhat uncomfortable for the locals, but I did feel a bit of "information overload" by about an hour in.
Go, learn, enjoy. Not sure I'd take the children, though.
