点评：Excellent museum and collection. Great car parking and access (nice and tidy). Staff where very helpful and friendly. My wife has mobility issues and the lady was very nice to her while I looked at the exhibits. The collection is rich, so much to see and look at and read. The ride on the train is fun! (ignore the negative comments) it reminded me of a auto-train from days gone by (BTW the coach was part of a two car set and never had a power pack, the reviewer who says its a diesel hauling a diesel is wrong). Beautiful country side, all very relaxing. I said to one of the staff this is a place that would prevent stress and heart attacks. Two of the staff where very accommodating and shewed me behind the scene's to look at the engines parked up or having work done. The other gentlemen shewed me how the points and signal boxes worked plus the Canadian Caboose. In fact its so good, I went again the next day! Met Mr Jolly who told me all about how he set the Museum up. We had a great natter! and then he took time to shew me the collection. Bought some books and left a 'little' donation ;o) Would definitely go back again! Great people, very friendly, can not recommend highly enough! I would suggest if you are going for a full day - take a picnic, while there is drinks and small snacks they do not have a cafe, I understand I was at Montrose Air Museum, Scotland in May and the lady there explained about the reg's and rools to have a full blown café, its a lot of work for a small out fit, do not judge or complain if a small museum has no café
