点评：Downtown Mena is a nifty place with some pretty unique storefronts, and this building is a big part of the scene. I'm really glad this gem was preserved and repurposed rather than being razed as has happened to so many small-town stations!
To me, the seems much bigger than it is. I think that's a result of the prominence it enjoys in the center of a divided downtown.
The interior is packed with relics and exhibits of both local history and of the Kansas City Southern Railroad. Depending on your focus, you might spend 10 minutes scanning their collection, or a couple of hours sorting through articles, correspondence, and visual pieces. It's all up to you!
If nothing else, it's a great place to pick up info about the area, stretch your legs a bit, and enjoy the ambiance of another time. Across the past 40 years I've stopped here several times, and have enjoyed each visit. Perhaps you will, too!
