No refund after cancellation due to mums death!

点评：It’s a shocking sign of the times when a business doesn’t refund a payment when someone’s mother has died. “Inconveniently” my dear mum collapsed and died very quickly in early July. Not only was I dealing with the grief of this event,I was told by the stable manager, who took two promptings to respond to me, that because the event took place less than 7 days before my ride I was not apparently entitled to either a transfer or a refund. Hiding behind a set of rules which are biased in favour of the stables (they can short notice cancel but a customer cannot) is bad enough, but to have zero compassion and willingness to refund in this scenario is beyond appalling. I would have loved to have ridden across Scotland with this business but I will not take my custom to a business who shows such little respect for their customers. Perhaps they thought I was making it up, I did offer to show the manager my mums death certificate. Bring back kindness and compassion over profits, please world!
