点评：The boat was awesome. However I felt that the skipper could have done better. There was no effort to help catch the big one everyone talks about at the Great Barrier. The gear was basic at best, the hooks just marginally bigger than the Sabiki. They did not have any larger hooks or any other gear. That was it.!!!!!! 1 packet of squid cut to tiny pieces for bait. There was no way we could have landed a big one and we didn’t!!!. The spots we moved to only helped to bring it closer to the shore on our way back. I would not do this again with them. When
I fish the Great Barrier, it will be from a boat from somewhere else and with my own gear. Hooked on Barrier has a monopoly. There are no other charters. The good thing is that the deckhand filleted the fish for us, so I did have the freshest meal that night.
