Fun despite 'flaws'

点评：It is a fun farm, and we have season passes as of this year.
The good:
●There are lots of activities, for various age groups and abilities and it is ever-growing.
●The splash pad is excellent and alot of children can play at one time. There is lots of seating for parents and kids taking breaks.
●My family never wants to leave. There is so much to do and kids can focus on something different every single time.
The less-than-good:
●Child or adult, you have to buy the pass. I don't like it when places geared toward children charge parents to attend. I find it so odd; I'm there to chase and redirect, not to play. So I think that part is just weird; especially for the cost: $100 per person is steep.
●The playhouse section is beautifully made, but not at all accessible for toddlers or children with poor motor skills. The netting is super wide and there's just no way my children can navigate it. I wish just one structure was safe for them to enter.
● They are not open on Sundays, and they close very early. I know the owners do this so that staff can take a break. But, for those of us who work Mon-Fri, the close time of 5pm throughout the week and having it be closed on Sunday greatly limits how often we can come this year as I don't know any families like us who aren't busy most Summer Saturdays. You have to go 5 times to get your value of the season pass, and that may prove hard. This alone, will determine whether we bother to buy passes in the future; I don't think I would have bought the pass if I had realized Sunday's weren't an option as that is the day we planned to come and use our passes.
●The bikes, farm hoppers and ride-alongs get SO hot in the sun. I wish they had staff ensuring toys were getting put away regularly. Luckily the kids have learned to tap the top to see if they are hot; but we learned the hard way last year when we watched a playgroup of moms set their kids down and all the kids burned their legs and bums. These items need to be shaded for safety.
●There are minimal food choices that are healthy. They don't allow food within the park, and the options they have just do not work for my family as more than one of us have conditions that force us to be very mindful of fat and sugar content in order to not become sick. As such, we pack a lunch and have to eat outside of the gates then wait to re-enter. The time we went this year was when I had to take a Friday off to go, and there was only one option open despite their claim of multiple food spots; so this may have effected our opinion.
Don't get me wrong. We have a blast when we're here; this is just some feedback about what could be improved upon in order to maximize the experience.
