Clovermead Honey Shop – A Sweet Escape in Aylmer!
Even before the Adventure Farm opens for the season, Clovermead is still buzzing with charm! This cozy, family-run honey shop is packed with the rich, golden goodness of locally sourced honey, plus an incredible selection of bee-themed treats, natural skincare, and unique gifts.
Walking in, you’re immediately greeted by the sweet aroma of honey and the warm hospitality of the staff, who are always happy to share insights about their beekeeping process. We sampled delicious honey varieties, each one bursting with its own distinct flavour profile, and couldn’t resist bringing some home! We now have a lot of honey from Clovermead. The cinnamon cream is delightful. The turmeric is fantastic in a cup of tea, the blueberry is amazing on breakfast, but also fried chicken – as is their Sweet Heat – which has a nice kick of spice for your fried chicken.
Clovermead is more than just a shop—it’s an experience. Even without the farm attractions in full swing, the rustic charm, delicious offerings, and genuine passion for beekeeping make this spot worth the visit. Can’t wait to come back when the farm is open!
There is a charge to visit the adventure farm (which is open Mid May to October) but if you are just looking for some great honey – and gifts – you can visit the store any time of year.
