A Hidden Gem -- Well Worth the Winding Road!

点评：Although Holden's is definitely off the beaten path (I found myself amused by the signage on the winding roads — "Final stretch!"), it's well worth a visit. The owner, Conor, warmly offers patrons a cup of coffee and invites them to browse his shop without any pressure to buy. As soon as you open the door, you're met with the intimacy of a small business in a cozy space, and the rich scent of leather fills the air.
I will caution visitors that the prices are quite "dear." However, the quality of the work is unquestionable, and each piece — from totes, to belts, to coin purses and keychains — shows the high level of craftsmanship. This place is as real as it gets. Five stars for Conor's genuine warmth and hilarious demeanor.
I would’ve loved to peek into the adjacent workshop — not sure if they host classes or tours, but if not, I think it's a great idea that could draw even more visitors. Just looking at the workshop was like viewing a Where’s Wally? piece — delightfully detailed and full of character.
