点评：On the first day we played, there were clumps of grass cuttings everywhere on the front 9 holes. The fairways were totally brown with the clippings. Needless to say not much run of the ball! The back 9 was terrific. No cuttings. We asked about the cuttings after the round. We had an assortment of excuses, the man who should have cleared the cuttings was absent today, to, we don't know, it's a mystery!
We played the next day to find holes 1 to 11 were now covered in cuttings. It's not a cheap round so I spoke to the manager on our return to the clubhouse and he reimbursed us for one round which was fair. I have done my own research on this and the bottom line is that the course has had a lot of rain so has been unable to mow the fairways. When it is dry enough there is excess cuttings which should be blown away. We saw a bit of this being done but nowhere near enough. Players should be notified of this before hand so they can decide whether to play or not. The greens were in a fab condition as was the rest of the course without cuttings.
