点评：Philipsburg itself is wonderful, full of great shops and bars. Lots of hidden streets with local vendors.
BUT. Beware of Timeshare scouts! We unfortunately were conned and lied to big time by an English man Steve, who after me scratching a ‘winning card’ was offered a taxi to the new JW Marriott at Dawn Beach to take a look at this resort, and as I had a winning card would win one out of the four prizes ($300, IPad, IPhone 16 or a week in a Marriott resort) at the end of our tour around.
He promised it was a 7 minute drive. So he put us in the taxi and off we went.
WRONG, it’s at least 15 minutes. Then he said we would have 90 minutes of free drinks whilst one of us had a quick guided tour around the resort. WRONG. We could only have one drink each. He also said that the taxi would take us back to our resort in Simpson Bay. WRONG. They only took us back to Philipsburg, we had to pay the extra from there back to Simpson bay.
He was very cleaver in stapling my card with my partners losing card, back to back so we couldn’t see the conditions etc.
So basically we ended up having a 2 1/2 hour stay at the resort with a nice lady trying to sell us a timeshare with Marriott. She wasn’t happy at the end of it as we didn’t buy into it, (I already have a Hilton one) but we did get a 4 nights stay in ironically, a Hilton resort in Alaska !
We were fully aware this was a timeshare sale, but not one that was so intense and not without all the extras he promised us, if we had known this we would not have gone!
We left there feeling very annoyed by being lied to by Steve. It ruined our day.

所以，我们最终在度假村待了两个半小时，一位好心的女士试图向我们推销万豪的分时度假。最后她很不高兴，因为我们没有买账（我已经有希尔顿的分时度假了）。但讽刺的是，我们确实在阿拉斯加的希尔顿度假村住了4晚！
我们完全知道这是分时度假促销，但促销力度并不大，而且他承诺的额外服务也不少，如果我们知道的话，我们肯定不会去了！
