点评：Super nice folks. Easy to book. Scenic. We kayaked Lake Taneycomo in Branson. It was a wider body of water than what we normally like, but it was very enjoyable. There were motor boats, but very respectful. Saw tons of geese, a bald eagle, and water is very clear in parts where you can easily spot fish.
Only had two issues really and they were not big deals. One, my seat was broke so it caused me to shift a lot to keep from getting poked by the hard plastic. A larger person probably would have been miserable. The second, while not an issue with the outfitter, we were given a map to a hiking trail and caves that we could explore. However there is no marking or signage along the water to let you know that you have arrived at the spot. We were told that the Corp or whoever doesn't allow signage, so maybe some additional landmarks on the map might be helpful in finding the trail head...which we actually did end up finding, but you would really need hiking boots, walking sticks and proper gear to get to the trail. The climb was more than we were equipped to take.
The float itself was nice. We did 8 miles from the Hatchery to just before Branson's Landing. The water is very cold year round as it is released from the bottom of the Dam of Table Rock Lake. Lots of fishermen especially in the narrower parts, must be watchful to avoid lines and fishermen standing in water. The folks at the outfitter and shuttle driver are very nice and informative.
