What makes Crescent Island truly special is that you walk among the animals. No safari jeeps, no barriers - just you, the wildlife, and the stunning landscapes of Lake Naivasha, with Mount Longonot providing a serene backdrop. It's a unique opportunity to feel immersed in the environment while still being safe and guided.
You’ll encounter animals usually seen only from a distance in a vehicle, the sanctuary is teeming with life such as Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas, Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Giraffes, Monkeys.
Bird lovers will also be delighted. The boat ride across Lake Naivasha is a highlight in itself, where pelicans glide, African fish eagles swoop for their catch, and hippos lazily pop up near the boat, offering an eye-opening and peaceful experience that contrasts with the typical safari rush.
