点评：We purchased tickets for the Montserrat cable car believing they would take us all the way to the top. Unfortunately, that is not the case — the cable car only runs from the car park at the bottom up to the monastery. Since we had already driven up and paid to park at the monastery, the tickets we bought were essentially useless. What we actually needed were tickets for the funicular to reach the top.
When we realized the mistake, we contacted the company for a refund, explaining it was an honest misunderstanding. They refused, saying we hadn’t purchased ticket insurance, and their customer service team was unhelpful — only pointing us back to the fine print.
I think this is a very easy mistake for visitors to make, as it’s not made clear when purchasing that these tickets do not take you to the top. Overall, very disappointing experience and poor customer service. Would not recommend!
