点评：Chopta is a beautiful little hill station which is base camp of Tunganath and Chandrashila trek. Located 22km away from UkhiMath at an altitude of 13100 ft above sea level. Chopta is surrounded by the mighty Himalayas, making it the best trekking destination as well.
Chopta is not only beautiful hill station but also it is the epicenter of all Panch Kedar's. Madmaheshwar and kedarnath are located left to Chopta. Rudranath and Kalpeshwar are located right to Chopta. Tunganath is located top of Chopta which is highest temple in the world.
We reached to Chopta @ 03:30 pm and there was heavy rain continously till 04:00 pm. We took stay near bus stand and then got fresh up. Finally started trekking to Tunganath at 04:30 pm and reached to top exactly during Evening Aarati. Had good darshan and returned to down by 09:00 pm. Had dinner and then took rest. Next day morning started from there to Gopeshwar. This is one place which is difficult to reach by public transport as we have to wait for all eight members need to fill in share taxi. People reach to Chopta via two routes one is UkhiMath and another one is Gopeshwar. People reach to Kedarnath and Madmaheswar via UkhiMath route. Same way if anyone want to visit Rudranth and Kalpeshwar then they have to opt for Gopeshwar route.
