Rude staff to non-Tamils

点评：We came here to see the library and museum. The museum, library are closed in afternoon for 2 hours and 30 minutes for lunch which is not mentioned anywhere in the complex. Everything is written in Tamil and there is no second language like English for tourists to understand. The staff is extremely unprofessional to tourists. They need some harshly speaking Tamil person abusing them to give information.
The guides here and very very rude to women and treat tourists like prisoners, insulting them for asking any question. They only like to men and are very biased. I am uploading photos of the staff who was rude to us and yelled at us for asking questions.
Tamilnadu has rich culture but is very unfriendly place for tourists as there are no organized guides like in Maharashtra and everything we see feels alien as there is no literature in any historical places in English. So many historical places in India have improved on the Government’s Incredible India Agenda but this place is backward and unfriendly to tourists who come from America and other places abroad.
I would not recommend any foreign tourists to come here and go to Pondicherry or Chennai where you will get guides who speak English .
