Best Place to Experience Nature in Ooty

点评：This was the first stop on our Ooty sightseeing as our stay was pretty near to this place. And trust me this was the only place where I found peace in entire Ooty.
When the entire Ooty town was seeing huge footfall of local tourists, very few tourists came here when we visited. Also the place being huge added the extra advantage and people can easily avoid crowds and enjoy some lone time with their loved ones.
There is a beautiful hanging bridge (not properly maintained though) where you can get lovely Instagram-worthy clicks. There is also a small watchtower at the end of an easy hike. You can see beautiful view of the tea fields and mountains from the watchtower. However the best part of the place was the short hike through the forest leading to the watchtower. The place being not at all crowded we enjoyed the hike like anything. All the sound that we could hear was that of the birds chirping and the wind rustling through the leaves. This was probably my favourite spot in Ooty as everywhere else that I visited was super crowdy during that weekend. We also visited a tea estate just outside this location where we were all on our own and spent some time taking some amazing shots.
If you love peace and tranquility like me and don't mind hiking for 15 around minutes then this place is a must visit when you are in Ooty.
