Fantastic day in fantastic Land Rovers.
Land Rover Experience Scotland的点评
点评：Attended a full day driving experience at Butterstone Loch, just above Dunkeld with my adult son. This is my third time, but on the other two occasions I was there for a half day. The full day obviously fits in so much more.
The morning drive was in the Range Rover. We tried out all the different obstacles, through water over steep terrain, side on gradients etc. It never fails to amaze me what these vehicles are capable of.
Doug, my instructor was a mine of information. I’ve had my current Range Rover for just over a year now and he pointed out features I never even knew my vehicle had. He was very personable and gave you confidence to really put the car through its paces.
After lunch we were in a Defender and headed up into the hills. This was the part of the day I enjoyed most, although this was my first time experiencing this vehicle and it’s not for me. Too utilitarian with a, in my opinion, basic interior, they are fantastic on rough terrain but give me my RR which will go most anywhere it can and, Doug surprised me by informing me there’s actually more ground clearance in the RR.
All in all. A fantastic day in good company.
