点评：If planning a trip to Green Island check the tide timetable and the weather. The advice we received from the ferry company on when and where to snorkel wasn’t particularly accurate. At high tide snorkel off the swimming beach with life guards you won’t see any coral but we did see turtles and a reef shark. At a lower tide snorkel along the wharf. This is where you will see corals and possibly a turtle. On the day we went the sea was a bit rough and it was a long snorkel out to where the coral was and though an experienced snorkeller I felt unsafe as it was such a long swim back to shore. Had we gone at lower tide in the afternoon it would have been a bit of a walk out there but a safer snorkel. Compared to Fitzroy Island Green Island was overrun with tourists and felt like a resort. So of the two I would recommend Fitzroy Island
