点评：I recently visited this place, and it was a breathtaking experience. You can see the sheer beauty and grandeur of the architecture. The intricate mosaics, majestic columns, and stunning ceilings.
The Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major is one of Rome’s four Papal Basilicas and one of the Seven Pilgrim Churches of Rome. The largest Marian church in Rome, it is regarded as the first Marian sanctuary in the Western world and the mother of all sanctuaries.
The relic of the Holy Crib is the highlights the importance of this Bascilica. The other most important relics are the remains of Saint Matthew and Saint Jerome. Seven Popes are buried in this Basilica. The Basilica of Saint Mary Major, also known as Basilica of Saint Mary the Great, also known as Santa Maria Maggiore.
