点评：Waipio Valley was hands down one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.
The valley itself is breathtaking, but what made this experience so special was our guide and the history he shared with us. As he said, the real history of Waipio Valley is not something you simply read in a book. It is passed down through generations and lived by the people who call this incredible place home.
Seeing how people continue to live off the land God has given them was absolutely amazing. There is something so peaceful and humbling about seeing a way of life that feels untouched by the craziness of the outside world.
And then there was the wild horse… because apparently my trip to Waipio Valley was not complete until I got a kiss from one! 😂 Yes, I actually got kissed by a wild horse, and it was one of those moments I will probably talk about forever.
Waipio Valley is truly a hidden gem. The scenery, the history, the culture, the people, and even the horses made this an unforgettable experience.
If you have the opportunity to visit, DO IT. This is not just something you see — it is something you experience, and I am so grateful I had the chance to do it.
