点评：It’s a very easy process to ride these: we bought our tickets at the ticket counter on the Altstadt side. The tickets were reasonably priced, and there are discounts for students, young children, etc. We then walked over to the boarding area, scanned the tickets to get through the turnstile, and hopped in the cable car. There’s no employee to assist you, although I did see one nearby if you would need help.
I’m not sure how many people could be seated total in one cable car. Maybe ten or twelve? Five of us, all adults, had room to spare.
I’m not a fan of heights, so I did get nervous when the car would vibrate and shake a little bit from the wind. The views made it totally worth it though. There’s excellent views of the Eck, the fortress on the opposite bank, and of course the river below.
The ride only takes six or seven minutes. On the other side, we got off and visited the fortress. There’s a combination ticket available if you plan to do the fortress too.
