Worth It! And here's some tips....
Columbia Wetlands Outpost的点评
点评：I rated this excellent because it was one of our favorite things we did on our trip! We rented a canoe for a half day and LOVED it. Do it!
But, a few tips:
-The instructions say to meet their team in the red barn upon arrival. Nope. "Near" the red barn in a totally different building. There is a little shack that says "Farm Tours" - that's where we checked in. Better arrival instructions would've been good...but the gal that checked us in was lovely.
-A lot of the reviews say it's easy to get lost. That's not wrong...haha. But, they give you a pretty clear map and decent instructions on what each channel should look like....and although we made one wrong turn we quickly realized we did and corrected.
-Pack your lunch to enjoy when you get back. Their 'shipwreck' dock is awesome and such a great place to just chill for a while when you get back from your float.
We were supposed to canoe on a lake in Jasper, but found this when our original plans got changed by the wildfires. I think we had way more fun exploring the wetlands than we would've on a lake - the scenery was gorgeous and it felt a little more adventurous.
