点评：My husband and I did a 7 mile canoe trip. We showed up when they opened on August 21 with no reservation and there was no problem getting a canoe. Aaron was very helpful and friendly and drove us to our drop off point about 15 minutes away us and helped get our canoe into the water. He also gave us some tips about places to stop or see along the way and did mention that the river is very low and we should anticipate having to carry the canoe several times throughout the trip. We did bottom out at least five times, but generally, we were able to navigate to deeper water by just using our oars to keep us moving. There was no one else on the river except two other kayakers the entire time. They also provide you with a QR code to give you an idea of how long your trip will take, and things are located to give you an idea of how close you are to the end. Thankfully, it was a cloudy day and not humid. Otherwise, I would have totally opted for the 5 mile trip. The last 2 miles were tough because there was no current and we were literally paddling the entire time. Luckily we did get to see an osprey and a bald eagle. I would definitely do it again.
